The Laboratory of Excellence “Empirical Foundations of Linguistics” (Labex-EFL) is funding a three-year PhD position in Natural Language Processing (NLP) starting in October, 2020.

Research context:

The research operation “Shallow Semantic Analysis” of strand 5 “Computational Semantics” of Labex-EFL. The selected candidate will work on joint modeling of linguistic structures and downstream applications using ideas from multitasking and latent structure prediction in deep neural networks

Candidate profile

We are looking for students with a masters degree (Master 2 or equivalent) in computer science with a background in natural language processing and machine learning.
